i had to make baby shower cupcakes for my co worker’s sister’s baby shower. i saw this picture and thought it was cute:
the color palette i was working with was blue, green, and yellow. this is what i ended up with:
my little man helped me out by punching out blue circles. he was pretty happy that he got to help. and happier that i actually used the blue circles. =)
i have a co worker, madeleine, who made me a peach cobbler for my birthday…so for her birthday, i wanted to make her cupcakes…i knew she was in a book club, so i did some research of books for decorations.

I’m not used to all this sharing of positive thoughts, I’m an old school type of a bloke, but I believe that I’ll definitely enjoy the company although “I’m tired, I’m discouraged, and I’m afraid”
Gin and Tonic Sorbet
Gin and Tonic Sorbet
½ cup sugar
1 large or 2 medium lemon or limes, zest and juice
2 ½ cups tonic water
3 fl.oz. shot gin. Vodka also works!
In a saucepan, make simple syrup by gently heating ½ cup water and sugar until sugar is dissolved. Remove from the heat and add the lemon or lime zest and juice.
Combine the gin and syrup then refrigerate. Also keep the tonic water icy cold in the refigerator add this to the gin syrup in the ice cream machine as you start to process.
Follow your machine’s directions to freeze the sorbet 30-45 mins. Transfer and store in an appropriate container and freeze to allow it to continue to firm.
Remove from the freezer 10 minutes before serving,
Serve in pretty little glasses garnished with more lemon or lime twists and/or rim the glass with lime sugar…

Flower chocolate bread, I love chocolates and bread 🙂
Once again for the chocoholic, bread with chocolate!
We tried a different shape today, a flower. Instead of chocolate you can use any kind of marmalade or fillings you prefer. In the picture below you can see how we make this in steps. Hope you guys will like it 🙂 Have fun!

After the Graduation themed cake, Angelica Bakeshop created the theme on Travel. And what would be more appropriate for this cake if not the illustration of two blue and brown travel bags.
It’s complemented with the model of tge iconic Eiffel Tower in the city of Paris in France, and beside it are the travel diary and the planet Earth.

After all is said and done, after the smoke has cleared, what will the children be doing next ? And the parents too ?
There will be many families traveling all over the country by land, sea and air, . Families with children, adults, friends and relatives together discovering new places they haven’t reached before, having fun and adventure.
